YOUR DENTISTS

John Christensen BD.Sc
Practice PrincipAL Dentist
John is one half of the reason Keppel Dental is even here. He set up shop in Yeppoon back in 1977 and was the first full-time dentist to establish a private practice in the area. What a trendsetter! John’s especially proud of the relaxed, and genuinely friendly, atmosphere at Keppel Dental. When not swotting up on current dentistry technologies or nerding out over the new possibilities digital dentistry could bring, he enjoys singing with a local choir and attempting to play tennis.
But most of all my grandkids make my heart smile. (PS. Not true about the cats!)

Lyndsey Browne B.Sc (Hons) B.Dent
DENTIST
Lyndsey enjoys the variety that modern dentistry can offer. Not just the techniques and treatments available, but the people she gets to meet too. She’s known for her calm nature, so even the most anxious patient will be able to relax that little easier during an appointment with her. Beyond work, Lyndsey loves to travel around Australia and beyond, and is a keen fitness fan.

Luke Christensen B.Sc (Hons) B.Dent (Hons)
Dentist
Luke wants your smile to look awesome. A big fan of cosmetic dentistry, Luke embraces the latest technologies that help rebuild natural-looking smiles. He also believes a trip to the dentist should be far from dull. Putting Netflix on the ceiling, so you can watch while in the chair? Yeah, that was his idea. What a genius! Besides dentistry, Luke enjoys surfing (although he says there’s room for his skills to improve) and taking his boat out for a spot of fishing.
YOUR Oral Hygienist

Suzan Kennedy
Oral Health Therapist
Suzan gets a big kick helping patients understand the connection between good oral health and good general health. You may book an appointment with her because you need a deep clean, or to brush up your at-home oral health skills. Besides filling patients with the confidence to take care of their teeth, what Suzan really loves is her new airflow machine. It’s super swish because it uses warm water to give you, the patient, a more comfortable experience. Beyond work, she enjoys getting stuck into a good book, with titles by author Sidney Sheldon being her favourite.
YOUR DENTAL ASSISTANTS

Maddison King
Dental Assistant
By her own admission, Maddison (aka Maddy) is a very hands-on and active person. It’s the practical side of assisting the dentists that she enjoys most. While she’s keen, attentive and calm during work, once clocked-off she embraces her spontaneous side. Loving an adventure, it’s not unusual to hear that she spent her weekend whizzing off on a last-minute drive to Five Rocks or Agnes Waters to satisfy her thrill-seeking side.
funny in the smallest of things!

Caiti Steedman
Sterilisation Technician and Dental Assistant
When you need a dental environment that’s free from contamination, who you gonna call? Caiti Steedman! She is the Keppel Dental germ buster. While she doesn’t have a proton pack, she does have other ways to zap pesky germs and keep contamination at bay so dentists and patients can go about their treatment safely. When not fighting germs, you may see Caiti assisting your dentist. Outside of work, Caiti enjoys unwinding by spinning some tunes. She has an eclectic taste, but Ocean Alley tops her charts.
YOUR Front of House Staff

Bronwyn Hawke
Practice Coordinator
Tinkering with the dental software program and troubleshooting are Bronwyn’s specialties. As Practice Coordinator she’s there making sure all the systems for patients and dentists alike, run as they should. During her two decades with Keppel Dental she’s got to know many of the patients really well and enjoys a chat and catch up when you pop in. Beyond Keppel, Bronwyn loves getting out and about on the golf course, or volunteering at North Keppel Island Environmental Education Centre.

Tracey Bones
Client Care Coordinator
Days at Keppel Dental can be busy. There’s always lots going on, but keeping everything running smoothly for patients and Keppel dentists is what Tracey does best (and she enjoys it!). As Client Care Coordinator Tracey’s your first point of contact. She’s here to make everyone’s life a little easier. Outside of work Tracey loves to cook for family and friends, spending time in the garden and taking her dog for walks on the beach.

Robyn Bowen
Receptionist
As our Keppel Dental receptionist, Robyn is on hand to meet, greet and answer your questions over the phone or when you arrive for your appointment. Robyn understands that for some people a trip to the dentist can be nerve-wracking. Just know that she’s on hand to help you feel comfortable while you wait. When not running the Keppel Dental reception, Robyn enjoys a spot of gardening and spending time with family and friends during get togethers.
